You've Visited our Open House. What's Next?

Over the past few Saturdays, we had the joy of welcoming many families to our July Open Houses across our Little Olive Tree centres.

To every parent, grandparent, and child who walked through our doors "Thank you".

Thank you for taking the time to explore our learning spaces, meet our educators, ask thoughtful questions, and allow us to share a little of who we are.

Choosing a preschool is one of the first significant decisions you'll make for your child. It can feel exciting, but also overwhelming. After visiting one or perhaps several preschools, it's natural to wonder:

"What should we do next?"

Here are a few questions that may help guide your decision.

1. How did the school make you feel?

Beyond the classrooms and facilities, think about the atmosphere.

Did you feel welcomed?

Did you notice warm interactions between educators and children?

Could you picture your child feeling safe, known, and encouraged there?

A preschool is more than a place of learning. It is a community your child will be part of every day.

2. Do the school's values resonate with your family's?

Every preschool offers programmes and activities. What makes each one unique is the philosophy behind them.

As parents, it is worth asking:

"What kind of person do we hope our child will become?"

The answer to that question often matters more than comparing enrichment classes or facilities.

At Little Olive Tree, our vision has always been clear:

To nurture young lives rooted in truth, growing in beauty, and bearing goodness.

Everything we do, from play experiences and classroom routines to relationships with families, is shaped by this purpose.

3. Don't rush your decision.

Take time to reflect together as a family.

Discuss what stood out during your visits. If you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask them. The right preschool will always be willing to have meaningful conversations with parents.

Ultimately, choosing a preschool isn't about finding a perfect school.

It's about finding a place where your child can belong, grow with confidence, and be cared for by people who genuinely believe in them.

To everyone who spent part of your Saturdays with us this July, thank you once again.

Whether your family's journey leads to Little Olive Tree or elsewhere, we hope you find a community where your child is deeply loved, joyfully learning, and given every opportunity to flourish.

We wish you all the very best as you take this next step together.
