Retrospective: A Celebration of God's Goodness

On the evening of 29 August 2024, the grand halls of Raffles Town Club were transformed into a dazzling celebration of faith, gratitude, and nostalgia as we gathered for Staff Appreciation Night. With the theme Retrospective: A Celebration of God's Goodness That Endures Forever, the night was a heartwarming tribute to the unwavering dedication of our staff, set against the vibrant backdrop of retro-style fashion and music.

The evening commenced with an enthusiastic welcome by our dynamic emcees, Jasmyn and Dan Yang, who set the stage for an unforgettable night. The spirit of appreciation and joy filled the room as our Executive Director, Mr Lim Eetuo took the podium for the welcome and appreciation speech, reminding us all of God’s enduring faithfulness through the years. This was followed by a heartfelt prayer, grounding the night in gratitude and unity.

The entertainment segment opened with a spectacular performance by Drama Queens, led by Jenny and her talented team, who delighted the audience with their theatrical flair. This was followed by the enchanting melodies of Classic Queens, with Yinshuang and her team taking us on a nostalgic musical journey.

As the night progressed, the energy remained high with an exciting Minute to Win It intermission game segment. Laughter and friendly competition filled the room as colleagues engaged in quick and quirky challenges, bringing out the fun and camaraderie that makes our team so special.

The much-anticipated Best Dressed Centre award was then presented, recognizing those who fully embraced the retro spirit with their stunning outfits. The air buzzed with excitement as winners took the stage, flaunting their vintage-inspired ensembles.

The highlight of the evening was the fun-loving performance titled From This Generation to the Next by our HQ team. Through the dancing of songs from the ages, they beautifully brought out the flavour of how music and dance evolved through the years.

As the event drew to a close, our Chairman led us in a heartfelt thanksgiving, reflecting on the countless blessings we have received and the incredible journey we share as a community. The night was a poignant reminder that, through every challenge and triumph, God’s goodness endures forever.

With hearts full and spirits lifted, we left the evening inspired and grateful, looking forward to another year of serving together with joy, purpose, and unwavering faith.
