Little Explorers at KidsSTOP™: A Day of Discovery and Adventure

At Little Olive Tree, we believe that learning happens everywhere—not just in the classroom. Our recent visit to KidsSTOP™ Singapore was an exciting opportunity for our little ones to explore, experiment, and have fun while learning!

Thrills, Skills, and Hands-On Exploration

The moment we stepped into KidsSTOP™, the excitement was palpable. The children eagerly dived into various hands-on experiences that challenged their curiosity, courage, and coordination.

🌟 Soaring High & Sliding Down – One of the highlights was an exhilarating ride where the children held onto a rod that lifted them high into the air before they released themselves onto a giant slide. Their squeals of delight echoed through the space as they overcame their initial hesitations and embraced the thrill! 🌪 Feeling the Force of Nature – Inside a special chamber, the children got to experience powerful air currents, simulating the sensation of strong winds. It was a moment of awe and excitement as they felt their hair and clothes flutter in the wind, discovering how air pressure and movement work in real life.

🦖 Digging for Dinosaurs – Some of our young explorers became paleontologists for the day, digging and uncovering fossils in the dinosaur sand pit. They carefully brushed off the sand, revealing bones and imagining what it would be like to discover real dinosaur fossils!

🚀 Exploring Space & Beyond – Future astronauts in the making had a blast exploring the space setups, pretending to journey through the galaxy, and learning about planets and stars. Their imaginations soared as they engaged in role-play, taking on exciting space missions.

✈️ Pilots & Astronauts in the Making – The children also visited the cockpit of an airplane and a rocket, where they pretended to be pilots and astronauts. It was a fantastic way for them to imagine, role-play, and ask questions about flying and space travel.

⚙️ Hands-on Engineering Fun – Others put their problem-solving skills to the test as they experimented with gears, pulleys, and engineering gadgets. By turning gears and assembling structures, they got a firsthand experience of how simple machines work.

🧗‍♂️ Reaching New Heights – One of the most exciting challenges of the day was a towering climbing obstacle, as high as two storeys! With determination and teamwork, the children carefully navigated their way to the top, building their confidence, strength, and problem-solving skills along the way.

More Than Just Play—A Meaningful Learning Experience

Beyond the fun and adventure, this visit helped our children develop essential skills such as courage, perseverance, teamwork, and spatial awareness. Whether they were digging for fossils, exploring space, testing out engineering gadgets, or taking charge in the cockpit, they were learning through experience—a key part of our approach at Little Olive Tree.
