Easter Joy at LOT BDW: A Celebration of Hope and Togetherness - Come and Celebrate Matthew 28:6

This morning, Little Olive Tree Preschool (Bethesda Depot Walk) was filled with joy, music, and laughter as children, parents, and staff came together for a heartwarming Easter celebration. Themed “Come and Celebrate", the event was a beautiful reminder of the hope we have in the risen Christ.

Parents were warmly welcomed by our teachers and staff as they arrived, stepping into a morning thoughtfully planned for fellowship and joy. Principal Ms Bea opened the event with a warm welcome, setting the tone for the day. What followed was a lively singspiration led by Uncle Kelvin, featuring songs like He is God and It Is LOVE—songs that filled the hall with energy and praise.

The children then took center stage with delightful performances. The PG to N2 classes sang Ho Ho Ho Hosanna with cheerful enthusiasm, while the K1 class danced to Jumping Up and Down. K2 wrapped up the performances with Come On and Celebrate, reminding everyone of the true meaning of Easter. The finale brought families together in a shared song—an uplifting moment that resonated with unity and joy.

Meaningful Easter messages were then delivered by Uncle Joseph, Auntie Siew Mei and Auntie Lai Yeng from Bethesda Hall Depot Walk Church, encouraging parents, guardians and children to reflect on the hope we have in Christ. Families also enjoyed a hands-on bonding craft activity before sharing a delicious lunch together.

The celebration concluded smoothly, but the joy lingered. More than just an event, it was a special time of connection—between children, families, and the faith that anchors us.
