Growing Together: Why Parent–School Partnership Matters
Growing Together: Why Parent–School Partnership Matters At Little Olive Tree, we believe that children grow best when the important adults in their lives walk together. On 19 December, our Yishun campus was filled with laughter, movement, and festive joy during the Jingle Joy CheerFest Carnival. Parents and children moved from station to station, played games, shared smiles, and created memories side by side. But beyond the colours and celebration, something deeper was t

A Christmas Celebration Across Generations
Why Community Matters: Learning to Love Beyond Our Classrooms At Little Olive Tree, education extends beyond the classroom. Children grow not only through lessons, but through relationships — by learning how to see others, care for them, and understand that they are part of a wider community. This is why community matters to us. When our K1 and K2 children from Little Olive Tree @ Ang Mo Kio visited PCS Cedar Tree Active Ageing Centre (Care) @ Potong Pasir 108 this Christ

Christmas came to a little village...
Last Friday, a small corner of One Holland Village felt a little warmer, a little brighter. Children from Little Olive Tree (Holland Village and Ghim Moh) were invited to take part in a Christmas caroling celebration. Twenty children turned up—eyes wide, voices ready, excitement bubbling over. Their parents were just as eager, cameras in hand and hearts full. A light drizzle made a brief appearance, but it did not dampen the spirit. If anything, it added to the charm. The

A moment of Greatitude
On 29th November 2025, we had gathered for our annual Thanksgiving Service with almost all staff present — a simple, heartfelt time of reflection, appreciation, and celebration. Colleagues reconnected, took photos, and paused to thank God for His faithfulness through a year that stretched us, surprised us, and shaped us. Our Executive Director, Mr Lim Ee Tuo, shared a reflection from Matthew 6:28–29, inviting us to see this past year the way Jesus sees the lilies of the fie

A Journey of Purpose, Discipline and "One-Buttock Teaching"
To date, three of our Little Olive Tree preschools— Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, and Holland Village —have achieved the SPARK 2.0 Quality Certification . We celebrate this milestone not because it was easy, but because it demanded the very best of us. Getting SPARK is certainly not a walk in the park . It is more like learning the piano—slow, deliberate, sometimes awkward, and often full of scales you don’t feel like practising. It calls for thoughtful planning, clear thinking, purp

2025 K2 Concert: You Are Value-Able!
Reflections from Little Olive Tree’s 2025 K2 Graduation Concert This year’s K2 Graduation Concert — You Are Value-Able! — celebrated more than just the end of a preschool journey. It was a joyful reminder of what truly gives life meaning: knowing that we are valued and that we can bring value to others. The concert showcased Little Olive Tree’s five core values — Care, Respect, Responsibility, Courage, and Honesty — through a delightful story performed by the K2 class

Being Future-Ready with LOT
Last year, my daughter, Jedidah, graduated from Little Olive Tree Woodlands. At Little Olive Tree, she wasn’t just taught, she was loved, guided, and gently shaped into someone who could see beyond differences. This year, she started Primary 1. One afternoon, she came home and told me something that completely caught me off guard. “My favourite ruler broke today. My friend broke it.” Naturally, I was concerned and asked if she was upset—if she cried. She simply shook

Returning to Anita's First Love
Returning to My First Love When I first came to Singapore, I was a young mother with no friends, no family, and an infant in my arms. Every morning, I would sit in the preschool foyer as my daughter began her first steps into learning. From the sidelines, I noticed the sparkle in children’s eyes, the warmth of their teachers, and the laughter that filled the room. It stirred something in me. One day, the principal asked if I would read a story to the children. I said yes—and

Thank you, LOT Bukit Arang!
Dear LOT Bukit Arang, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for all the support and kindness you have shown our family during our time in Singapore. Little Olive Tree Preschool made a profound difference in my daughter’s life and education. My daughter, Nandin, has learned so many wonderful things at school — from improving her English reading, writing, and speaking skills to becoming more independent and responsible. Th

A Grateful Mother's Journey
"I would like to express my gratitude for accepting my child in LOT Woodlands. Despite the long travelling distance from Punggol, my husband and I think it is worth for my child to be in the inclusive classroom where he can have suitable special needs support in the preschool. We have met up with the Child Development doctor at KKH yesterday and she was pleased with the improvement my child has made. I am very glad the teachers in LOT Woodlands are very child-centric and ha
