Roots and Branches - An Intergenerational Programme
At Presbyterian Preschool Services (PPS), we take pride in nurturing young minds and fostering meaningful intergenerational connections. Today, at the grand opening of A Good P.L.A.C.E by Presbyterian Community and Social Services (PCSS), we were honored to showcase a programme, Roots and Branches, that embodies our core values, bringing together children from Little Olive Tree (Foochow Methodist Church) and seniors from PCSS’s Active Ageing Centres (AACs). Mountains and Valleys - A Leadership Moment
A Reflection by Bethanie Wong The Mountains and Valleys leadership moments session was a truly inspiring experience, guiding us through the different dimensions of leadership—adoration, appreciation, affirmation, aspiration, activation and articulation. We began by reflecting on our individual strengths and recognising that leadership is not a solitary pursuit but one nurtured by faith and community. The story of Moses served as a powerful reminder of the importance of encour

Raising humans, not robots
Written by Tiffany Yeh In a world obsessed with preparing children for a future dominated by artificial intelligence, it’s tempting to believe that early exposure to technology is essential for success. A Journey of Growth and Learning When I arrived from the Philippines, I faced the challenge of adap

Crossing the Finish Line - End of Good Start Run Brazil135
As the sun set over the rugged terrain of Brazil, a remarkable journey came to a triumphant close. Uncle Stephen Lim Nghee Huat, one of Singapore’s most dedicated ultramarathoners, completed the grueling Brazil135 Marathon—a 217-kilometer test of endurance and spirit. This monumental achievement was not only a personal victory, it was also a demonstration of grit, faith, and community. The Brazil135 Marathon was a powerful symbol of hope for children aided by the Educational

First Week of School at Little Olive Tree
As we opened the doors for a brand-new school year at Little Olive Tree Preschools, the excitement was contagious. Parents waved goodbye—some with teary eyes, others with big smiles—trusting us to take care of their little ones. It’s a beautiful reminder of our shared mission: to love, nurture, and guide these precious children. Here at Little Olive Tree Preschools, we ground everything we do in the values of truth, beauty, and goodness. They not only shape how we teach, care
