2024年7月10日，我们接待了来自于智源教育学院（KLC）的领导小组和台湾国立清华大学三位特殊教育教授的参访。参访小组由KLC院长亲自带领和陪同，他们希望通过这一次参访了解新加坡融合教育的环境创设与教育实践。
参访小组参观了小小橄榄树@AMK校区，对于我们正向积极的环境创设和教育理念给予了高度评价。他们针对我们为特需幼儿所付出的尊重、照顾与扶持给予了肯定和赞许。参访小组也与特教教师进行了经验交流，特教教师Abi向参访小组介绍了环境创设的理论依据，以及制作的教具对特需幼儿的具体帮助。
教授们也分享了自己在特需领域的知识与技能，这是一次难得的国际化交流，相信这样的交流不仅有助于不同国家和地区之间共同探讨相关的课题，也能够促进相关领域的持续进步与长足发展。
Visit from KLC Institute and National Tsing Hua University Special Education Experts
On July 10, 2024, we had the honor of hosting a delegation from KLC International Institute and three special education professors from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. Led by the President of KLC, the delegation visited Little Olive Tree @ AMK to gain insights into Singapore’s inclusive education environment and practices.
During their visit, the delegation highly praised our positive and nurturing learning environment as well as our educational philosophy. They recognized and commended the respect, care, and support we provide for children with special needs.
A valuable exchange of experiences also took place between our special education teacher, Abi, and the visiting professors. Abi shared the theoretical foundations behind our inclusive learning environment and demonstrated how our specially designed teaching aids support children with special needs. In turn, the professors shared their expertise and best practices in special education, making this an enriching international dialogue.
Such exchanges not only foster meaningful discussions on inclusive education across different countries but also contribute to continuous progress and innovation in the field.
